The Martyr’s well at Jallianwala Bagh is the place where hundreds of innocent, unarmed men, women and children jumped to escape from the bullets fired by General Dyer's men in 1919. This incident is marked in Indian history as Jallianwala Bagh Massacre or Amritsar Massacre.
