Amar Jyothi in Jallianwala Bagh at Amritsar

Amar Jyothi or the eternal flame is a memorial built inside the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial for remembering those who lost their life in Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919. Jallianwala Bagh Massacre is considered to be one of the worst tragedies in Indian History done by the British during the freedom struggle of India. This eternal flame has been built by the Indian government in remembrance of those lives in Jallinwala Bagh at Amritsar in Punjab state, India.
