H'ble S.H. Kapadia, Former Chief Justice of India
Sarosh Homi Kapadia, born on 29th September 1947 was the thirty-eighth chief justice of India. The chief justice of India is considered to be the highest judicial position obtainable by a judge in India. The chief justice is the head of the administrative functions of the Supreme Court and also sits actively as a presiding judge in the Supreme Court of India.
Shown in the video is the swearing-in-ceremony of Justice Kapadia as the 38th Chief Justice of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by the then H’ble President of India, Pratibha Patil. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, his cabinet colleagues and former Chief Justice K.G.Balakrishnan were present during the function.
