Last Words of Mahatma Gandhi

Contrary to popular belief, Mahatma Gandhi's last words before succumbing to his injuries were not "Hey Ram". Mr. Venkita Kalyanam, the sole surviving member of the 'Gandhi camp' gives us an insight into the last moments of Mahatma Gandhi's life before he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse. According to Venkita Kalyanam, Mahatma Gandhi died instantly after he was shot. He did not utter anything; just fell down and died.
