Fancy Store in Konark, Orissa
Featured in this video is a fancy store near the Konark Sun Temple, a popular shrine dedicated to the Sun God in Orissa; a state located on the east coast of India. Built in CE 1278 by the king Narasimha Deva, the shrine is also known as Arkakshethra, which literally means Sun Temple.
A large number of pilgrims and tourists frequent this temple throughout the year to experience the architectural marvel and the intricate stone carvings depicted on the walls of this temple. One can see a group of young women gathered in front of the store to purchase various fancy objects.
