Chilka boat jetty, Orissa

Featured in this video is the Chilka boat jetty in the State of Orissa, India. Chilka Lake or Chilika Lake is considered as Asia’s largest lagoon and it is a popular attraction known for its bird sanctuary.

Located some kilometers from Bhubaneshwar in Orissa state, Chilka is a true haven for resident and migratory birds. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Orissa where one can see the Chilka Dolphins in their natural habitat.

The pier seen in this video is the spot from where the tourists and travellers can access boats to different locations including Kalijai temple.
