Renowned Kathak Dancer, Pali Chandra conducted a workshop for students, both visually challenged and sighted under privileged on 7-8 August 2011 and she explains why such a workshop for blind and under privileged students. Mulamoottil Eye Foundation did the video documentation of the same.
Acharya Sri Rakum School for the blind, a free residential school for the visually challenged and for the sighted underprivileged, is situated at Indiranagar, Bangalore in Karnataka, India . It was born out of the realization that children hailed from villages and tribal belts and came from very poor families.
