National Film Awards

Lage Raho Munnabhai bagged the show at the 54th national film awards function by bagging four awards. President Prathibha Patel gave away the awards in New Delhi recently. The film also won the best award in screenplay and lyrics. The prestigious award for the best feature film went to the film Pulijanmam, a Malayalam film directed by Priyanandanan. The theme of Pulijanmam is the clash of idealism and worldly life.
