Kalka- Shimla railway line dedication

The century old Kalka- Shimla mountain railway has always been popular with tourists. Recently at a vibrant ceremony laced with cultural performances at the Kalka station in Haryana, Junior Railway Minister R. Velu dedicated the Kalka Shimla railway line to the nation as a world heritage track after being declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
