Jamhang Tsouthong, tribal dance of Khiamniungan tribe
Shown here is the Jamhang Tsouthong tribal dance of Khiamniungan tribe of Nagaland, the northeastern State of India. This performance is from the Hornbill festival organized by the State Tourism and Art & Culture Departments of Nagaland and is held annually in the first week of December.
The festival is a celebration of the unique cultural traditions of the Naga tribes. The festival is also a platform for the tribal dances of other northeastern states in India.
