Street shopping in Nagaland

Nagaland, a hill state located in the north-eastern part of India is noted for its unique culture and handicrafts products.

Shown in this video are shots of a wayside cloth seller in Nagaland and surrounding activities. One can also see local people roaming in their traditional attire, especially women with infants slung on their back.

Nagaland is a state dominated by tribal communities, where weaving is a major source of livelihood. The state is noted for its rare colourful handloom materials like shawls and woolen apparels.
