Keleulwa Hill View, Nagaland

Featured in this video is the Keleulwa hill situated in one of the Naga villages in Nagaland, a north-eastern state in India. It is a fascinating spot and one can see a breathtaking view of mountain ranges and hillocks from here. 'Keleulwa' literally means illuminated and the fact about this hill is very interesting.

The villages in this place are devoid of salt. The village people bring salt from far removed areas and deposit it at the top of the Keleulwa hill. Several lamps are then lighted at the top of the hill to inform the people about the salt.
