Possessing extremely rich cultural heritage, the Naga tribes has plenty of unique tribal dances. Here are members of the Khiamniungan tribe, a major tribe in Nagaland, rehearsing for their performance during the Hornbill festival. It is the Jamhang Tsouthong tribal dance of Khiamniungan tribe.
Hornbill Festival, organized by State Tourism and Art & Culture Departments of Nagaland, is held annually in the first week of December. The festival is a celebration of the unique cultural tradition of Naga tribes. The festival is also a platform for the tribal dances of other northeastern states in India.
