Santoor also known as Shata-tantri Veena (a veena of 100 strings) in Sanskrit language, is an ancient stringed musical instrument originates from Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is trapezoid in shape with 72 strings. The soothing sound of Santoor takes you to another world and the instrument is mostly used to accompany Kashmiri folk music.
