A Mizo Village, Mizoram
Featuring in this video is a typical Mizo village in Mizoram, one of the north-eastern states in India. Located amidst lush greenery and hilly terrains, this village is one of the major Mizo settlements within the state. The Mizo people are a prominent tribal group that populates the state.
Mizoram literally known as the 'land of Mizos' was once called Lushai hills, a district in Assam. Later on, it became a separate state. A majority of the people living here are Christians and they earn their livelihood by farming.
