Mawlynnong Village - the cleanest village in Asia

Mawlynnong is a picture-perfect village, which earned a unique distinction of being the cleanest village in Asia. Nestled amidst pristine hills of Meghalaya State, this hamlet has more than 80 houses, which are mostly made of bamboo. The village is located near Cherrapunji in Meghalaya.
