Bleeding Rock in Dawki, Meghalaya

This video features Bleeding Rock near Dawki River, Meghalaya state of India. Dawki River is a scenic spot and the water in this river is greenish.

It is believed that years ago, when someone tried to break this huge rock, they found it bleeding. As a result the people decided not to break the rock as they believe it would bring harm to the entire village. One can see the scar on the rock which occurred while the people tried to break it.
