Air Force Museum, Shillong
Located in upper Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, a northeastern state of India is the Air Force museum. This museum has on display photographs of the Indo-Pak war and the Indo-China war along with various award winning photographs. The entry to the museum is absolutely free for the public.
Since the museum and surroundings are prohibited areas, one has to surrender ones driving license at the entry gate. This museum is a perfect place for photo enthusiasts, as they can find a large number of rare photographs. Apart from aircrafts, missiles and rockets, the skin of a very large python is also exhibited at this museum.
