Versova Beach in Mumbai
Versova Beach is one of the popular hangouts in Mumbai (Bombay). It is located to the north of Juhu beach and in the suburb of Andheri. This is a secluded beach which has thrashing waves of the Arabian Sea during daytime.
This beach gets crowded with tourists and people in Maharashtra between September and May. This is the peak time to visit this beach because the humidity would become comparatively low and the cool breeze blowing in this place is pleasant.
The largest fishing community in the city, the koli community resides near this beach. You can see the fishermen going to the sea if you visit the beach early morning.
During high tides the beach gets submerged under water, that’s why swimming is restricted here. Juhu beach and the ISKCON temple are situated nearby this beach.
