Venna Lake, Mahabaleshwar
Venna Lake is the most popular tourist attraction within Mahabaleshar, Maharashtra state in India. The lake was constructed in 1842 by Shri Appasaheb Maharaj, the then Raja of Satara. The lake covers an area of 28 acres.
The lake attracts tourists from around the country which makes this scenic spot crowded during weekends. You can enjoy boating in this lake along with cool breeze and some magnificent sights.
Many strawberry and carrot stalls are available in this place. Horse riding is another major attraction near the lake which tourist’s enjoy a lot. There is a small amusement park near this lake where you get to take some interesting rides.
