Statue of Shivaji, Pratapgarh

This video features the Statue of Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Kingdom at the top of the Pratapgarh Fort in Maharashtra state of India. The statue was erected in 1937 and is considered as a perfect piece of art. The statue is surrounded by a beautiful lush green garden which is known as Pratap Garden.

Tourists often visit this garden as it is a peaceful place for them to relax. There are also many food stalls near this garden where you get a variety of tasty snacks.

You get to see some rare species of snakes in this garden. The snakes come out from the temples near the garden. There is also a point named ‘punishment point’ near the garden from where you get an enchanting view of mountain ranges and valleys.
