Sevagram or the village of Service at Wardha
Sevagram Ashram or the village of Service was Mahatma Gandhi’s headquarters and place for experiments from the year 1934 to 1940. Sevagram, working in the principles of Mahatma is a place of peace with greenery. Sevagram is located at Wardha near Nagpur in the Indian state Maharashtra State.
Adi Nivas (first hut), Bapu Kuti and Ba Kuti (residences of Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi respectively) and the Prayer Ground are the main buildings inside the Ashram. One can also see the belongings of the great freedom struggler and Kasturba Gandhi is preserved as such here.
