Red Street or Kamathipura in Mumbai
Kamathipura, more popularly known as Red Street, is an oldest and Asia's second largest red-light district and is situated in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Maharashtra state of India. As Mumbai is known for its slums and streets, Kamathipura is no different, which shows you the real facet of slum life. The place was famous for prostitution and the government’s redevelopment policy in 1990’s helped many sex workers to move out of the profession.
