Ramtek Mandir, Nagpur
Located around 57 kilometers from Nagpur, Maharashtra state of India, Ramtek Mandir (temple) is an important religious place for Hindus. Legend says that Lord Rama, along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana stayed here during their journey to the forest and hence obtained the name. It is also believed that Kalidasa — a famous poet wrote his epic poem, Meghdootam in this temple. The Ramgiri Hill, which is mentioned as Ramgiri in the poem is located just to the temple.
