Nariman point in Mumbai
Nariman Point in Mumbai (Bombay) is situated at the southern end of Marine Drive. This business hub is named after Khursheed Framji Nariman. He was a Parsi futurist. This place is now considered as one of the major business centres in Mumbai.
This economic hub now houses offices of various departments. Nariman Point is otherwise called as the Manhattan of Mumbai because the buildings here are similar to those in Manhattan.
Most of the airline offices are situated in this region. Head offices of some multinational companies also function here. Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and state police headquarters are also located in Nariman point.
