Municipal Corporation Building, Mumbai
Located in South Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Maharashtra state of India, the Municipal Corporation Building is a Grade IIA heritage building opposite the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as the Bombay Municipal Corporation Building, or BMC building, the building houses the civic body that governs the city of Mumbai. The BMC was created in 1865 and Arthur Crawford was its first Municipal Commissioner.
