Veer Mata Jijabai Garden in Mumbai
Established in 1861, the Veer Mata Jijabai Udyan (garden) located in Central Mumbai, Maharashtra state of India sprawls over an area of 48 acres. The complex, which was formerly known as Victoria Gardens, has some of the oldest trees in the city.
Behind the garden, there is a zoo, which is home to a large variety of birds and many kinds of animals including black bucks, crocodiles, hyena, monitor lizards, foxes.
