Mumbai GPO Philatelic Bureau
Presented here is the Mumbai GPO Philatelic Bureau of India Post building. Located opposite to CST Railway station, the GPO building was designed in 1902 by John Begg and is the first building in India in Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.
India’s largest Philatelic Bureau, Mumbai GPO Philatelic Bureau also function as the International Philatelic Bureau. The main function of the bureau is the supply of philatelic items and provision of philatelic services to the general public.
The other services offered by Philatelic Bureau for the public are the on-line services for opening a philatelic deposit account with the Bureau; ordering of stamps and philatelic collectibles and the details of Indian stamps released in India since 1947.
