Flora Fountain in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Built in 1869 to honour the then Governor of Mumbai, Sir. Bartle Frere, Flora fountain is a marble sculpture located at the Fort area in Mumbai (Bombay), Maharashtra state of India. A perfect example of the Roman goddess, Flora, this is a monumental heritage structure which draws the attention of tourists across the globe. Now known as Hutatma Chowk or Martyr's Square, this place is a famous tourist attraction here.
