Dragon Palace Temple in Kamptee near Nagpur is a Buddhist temple. Dedicated to Lord Buddha the temple with its fascinating architecture, pictorial landscape and tranquil atmosphere attracts large number of tourists and devotees.
The temple was founded by Mother Noriko Ogawa Society of Japan. The idol of Lord Buddha is said to have carved out of a single block of sandalwood. Dragon Palace sprawls over an area of approximately 10 acres and is also known by the name 'Lotus Temple of Nagpur'. Kamptee is a satellite township of Nagpur district.
