Bal Gangadhar Tilak Udhyan, Mumbai

Bal Gangadhar Tilak Udhyan in Mumbai (Bombay), Maharashtra is one of the famous parks in the city. It was built to commemorate Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a social reformer and freedom fighter of India, who proclaimed that “Swaraj (Self-rule) is my birthright and I shall have it”. He was also a teacher.

This is a beautiful park which has enough space to relax. The people of Mumbai usually visit this park especially on holidays. A memorial to Bal Gangadhar Tilak is also situated in this park.
