Ba Kuti in Sevagram, Wardha, Maharashtra

Ba Kuti inside the Sevagram was the residence of Kasturba Gandhi, wife of Mahatma Gandhi. The roof of this hut is covered with bamboos, mats and country mud-tiles. The walls are neatly plastered with white earth. Inside the hut one can also see the belongings of Kasturba. Sevagram is located at Wardha near Nagpur in the Indian state Maharashtra State was Gandhi’s headquarters and place for experiments from the year 1934 to 1940.
