Ajanta Cave No.12, Aurangabad

Here we have the Cave No.12 of the 30 rock-cut cave monuments of Ajanta Caves in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The Ajanta Caves which includes paintings and sculptures, considered to be masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cave 12 is a vihara which is a monastery with a sanctuary in the structure's rear centre.
