Ajanta Cave No. 11 has a verandah supported in front by four plain octagonal columns. The entire cave was elaborately painted but except for the verandah the paintings are almost gone. Flowers, birds, and geometric patterns are painted on the roof of the verandah and the caves outside the pillars. The inside paintings are almost all obliterated, and only some pictures of Buddha and Bodhisattvas can be made out.
