Buddhist Monuments, Sanchi
Sanchi, a village located in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India is a popular picnic spot and a Buddhist pilgrimage centre. Famous for Buddhist monuments, this place was originally commissioned by the emperor Ashoka the Great in the 3rd century BCE.
The architectural brilliance of that time can be clearly seen in the monuments like the stupas, monolithic Ashokan pillars, shrines and monasteries. The video shoes the Buddhist monuments taken at a time close to dusk.
