Parsvanath Temple, Khajuraho
Parsvanath Temple, one of the largest Jain temples in the southeastern group of the temples of Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh state of India, is the finest among the whole temple complex. The shrine is especially noted for the precision of its construction and its beautiful sculptures.
On the outer face of the sanctum, there are various sculptures depicting 'apsaras' or heavenly nymphs in a variety of poses. Featured here are the Parsvanath temple and the lush greenery in and around the shrine.
