Parvati Temple at Khajuraho
Khajuraho, a typical central Indian village, has found its place in the UNESCO World Heritage List for being home to a group of exquisite temples, which are known for their beautiful erotic sculptures.
Shown in this video is the Parvati Temple at Khajuraho in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India. This temple is located on the southwest side of the Viswanatha Temple at Khajuraho.
It is believed that the shrine was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu but the present day temple enshrines an image of Goddess Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva.
