Heritage site - Bhimbetka

Featured in this video is the Rock Shelter number 14 at Bhimbetka in the Raisen district of the State of Madhya Pradesh in India. Bhimbetka is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its archaeological significance.

Bhimbetka is also known as Bhima’s Lounge as it is associated with the legendary hero Bhima in the epic Mahabharata.

The Rock Shelter 14 has lot of greenery all around and it offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding areas. One can find many pre-historic paintings and engravings on the huge rocks here.
