Gwalior Fort
Overlooking the Gwalior town in the State of Madhya Pradesh stands one of the biggest forts in India – the Gwalior Fort. Built by Raja Man Singh of the Tomar dynasty in the 15th century, this fort encloses three temples, six palaces and numerous water tanks. At one point of time, it was considered as India’s most invincible fort.
As the fort holds an important place in the history of India, a postage stamp has been issued by the Indian Postal Service to commemorate the relevance of this structure. Featured in this video is an overview of Gwalior Fort.
