Great Bowl at Sanchi
Sanchi, a popular travel destination in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India is famous for the Buddhist monuments. Most of the monuments date back to the 1st and 2nd century B.C.E.
Featured in this video is a huge bowl carved out of a single rock. This bowl was once used to store grains, which were distributed among the monks in Sanchi. It is located behind the Monastery 51, halfway down the hill towards Stupa 2.
