Exterior of Gujri Mahal
Featured here is the Gujri mahal in Gwalior, Madhya Pradhesh, built in the 15th century by Raja Man Singh for his Gujri queen Mrignayani. Over the years, this mahal has been converted into the State Archeological Museum which has a large collection of Hindu and Jain sculptures and copies of the Bagh Caves frescoes.
The museum also houses some rare antiques including the miniature statue of Salabhanjika (shown only by special permission), Terracotta articles and a beautiful crown noted for its attractive jewels.
