Dwarkadish Gopal Temple, Ujjain
A temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, the Dwarkadish temple is located at Ujjain, an ancient city in the State of Madhya Pradesh, India. This temple is a holy destination, often visited by a large number of devotees, everyday. ‘Dwarkadish’ literally means Lord Krishna, who is regarded as the ‘Lord of Dwarka’.
In the 19th century, Maharaja Daulat Rao Scindia's queen constructed the Dwarkadish Gopal Mandir and this holy spot is located near the bazaar in the centre of the city.
