Bhojtal - A calm lake in Bhopal

A perfect place for the people of Bhopal to be in a rather overwhelming atmosphere, this lakeside in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh state of India, gets crowded with evening walkers everyday. Formerly known as the ‘Upper Lake’, Bhojtal is a huge lake lies on the Western side of Bhopal. The Boat Club at Bhojtal offers facilities for various water sports and tourism in Madhya Pradesh.  This fresh water lake is also the major source of drinking water for the residents of the city.
