Bhimbetka Zoo Rock
Featured in this video is the Bhimbetka Zoo Rock or the Rock Shelter number 4 in the foothills of Vindhyan Mountains, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is the most famous of caves in Bhimbetka and is around 10,000 years old. It is one of the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
The paintings here depict animals like the bison, deer, elephant and horse. Most these paintings are white in color with few in red. Apart from that the paintings also display community living of that time with groups of people dancing, drinking, and playing musical instruments.
