Bhimbetka Rock Shelter 10

Featured in this video is the Bhimbetka Rock Shelter number 10 at the foothills of Vindhyan Mountains in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India. It is one of the most famous rock monuments in Bhimbetka and is around 30,000 years old.

There are various paintings on the rocks here and they depict animals like bison, deer, elephant and horses. All of these paintings are mostly white in color with few in red.

Bhimbetka is a World Heritage Site reckoned by UNESCO.
