Bateshwar Temples

Bateshwar temples located in Morena district, State of Madhya Pradesh, India are mostly dedicated to Lord Shiva and a few to Lord Vishnu. Well known for its architectural marvel, the temple complex spread over an area of ten hectares is in the ravines of the Chambal valley. The Chambal valley was once the centre of bandits, who now guard these shrines. The place is bestowed with natural beauty, drawing the attention of travellers.
