Sanu Lama, Nepali writer
Gadul Singh Lama, popularly known as Sanu Lama is one of the well-known and widely read Nepali writers in India. Born at Gangtok in Sikkim, his stories are set in the natural social and political background of the villages of Sikkim.
Katha Sampad and Mrigatrishna – collection of short stories, Himalchuli Manitira – novel are his major contributions to Indian literature. He has been awarded Sahitya Akademi Award, New Delhi in 1993 for Mrigatrishna.
