Featured in this video is Aswathy - the house of M. T. Vasudevan Nair, a legendary Indian writer, scenarist and film director who has won numerous awards and accolades from both state and central governments.

Born in Koodallur, a small hamlet in Palakkad district, Kerala, he became famous with his well-crafted novels and short stories in Malayalam. The characters in his stories were well received by the readers as they reflected the real human condition. Along with various recognitions, in 1995, he received Jnanpith, the highest literary award for his master craft, Randamoozham (the second turn).
