Making of bamboo mats, Wayanad

A perfect place for bamboo products, Uravu makes use of the indigenous sciences and technology for the upliftment of the tribes in the area. Besides a bamboo nursery, it runs a successful bamboo crafts design and production centre. A wide variety of bamboo products can be found here, most of them carried to different places, sometimes outside India.
