Kunthi Hanging Bridge in Silent Valley, Palakkad
Silent Valley is a virgin and delicate forest cuddled up in the mountain folds of the Nilgiris in Southern India. Located in the district of Palakkad, Kerala state, Silent Valley is undoubtedly God’s own abode. The national park here was explored in 1847 and is one of the last undisturbed tracts of South Western Ghats montane rain forests and tropical moist evergreen forest in India. Featured here is the hanging bridge built over the mighty Kunthi River in Silent Valley.
